Jets firing up after bye After a successful bye round, including a match simulation against "very realistic" tackle dummies, Coach Trodd Bowels was pleasure with their dismantling of RedRum. When informed that their bye round was actually a live round against the Squibs, Bowels was mildly surprised and quipped with a rye smile "that would explain the dummies moving more than normal". With a final round against Elves and a playoff spot guaranteed, the press enquired as to whether any players would be rested for the game. "Only Buster Spine will miss due to disciplinary reasons. His show boating was not sufficiently overt enough by team standards and will be given time off to consider his efforts moving forward"
