Lurkers sign for Season 4 The rumours circulating about the Dark Web Lurkers appear to be true, according to WAFFL Records. The team has signed up for Season 4, awaiting the official redrafting period to begin. Team Management addressed a conference of about one media member. "Season Four is not far from commencing, and we are not only looking forward to finalising our team, but also our coaching staff. We are in the market for a good head coach, that combines the on field hard hitting foul attitude as well as an off field personality to provide a great media coverage in a positive and professional manner." Time will tell if the Lurkers can provide a stable home for both players and coaches.

Lurkers did not meet with Rex Team management would like to deny the vicious rumours that they did in fact meet with Coach Rex of DKOK. Allegations that this is the reason why Coach Rex failed to make an impact at DKOK’s final round game which lead to his team’s inability to make the finals are utterly false. Rumours that they were interested in hiring Rex Jnr also proved false, although they did confirm Rex Jnr did try out for their team. It turned out that his ability on the field was very much ‘fake news’ as he couldn’t catch the ball, couldn’t knock a Halfling down, and yelled out “Foul!!!” every time he committed one, this resulting in being sent off every game. When asked to comment on his performance, team management declined to comment, but rumour is it that he would not be trusted to even pick up trash at the stadium...

Ai Suk fired The new head coach of the Lurkers has been fired after failing to inspire the team to anything higher than a defeat. The search for a new coach has begun, and is set to be sorted by the team the WCL Season 4 commences

We’re not that foul Ai Suk was speaking with Media today, in regards to his contract renewal. After a lot of deflection, this is the best of what was left: After reviewing the season’s footage thus far, the Dark Web Lurkers have caused 6 casualties from fouling, which has included two kills. Unfortunately there is no recorded data of how many fouls were committed per game until round seven. The Lurkers will be back next season, complete in foul glory. Only this time, the stats will be collected. Our new motto will be hit em hard, hit em often, and don’t discriminate between those standing, and those laying down - we want to provide an inclusive environment for our opponents. Our team will also be taking lessons in misdirection, as too many players are getting sent off.
